WHERE TO STAY

Closest hotels would include:

There are plenty of other options as well, see the map on the left, most of these would be a short Uber or Lyft ride to and from the arcade.

notes about the venue

Player1 Video Game Bar is a brand new location here in Las Vegas that only just had its Grand Opening over Labor Day weekend! The place is chock full of video games which are free to play and pinball machines which are reasonably priced at 50 cents per game.

There is a $5.00 cover charge per person per day. This house charge is paid at the door upon entry and covers the cost of the free games that are available for you to play. Also, note that no outside food or drink is allowed inside nor will they allow any bags or backpacks.

Player1 is owned and operated by a long time Cyberball fan who is allowing us to use his venue at no cost to the club. Everyone is encouraged to buy a few drinks, eat some bar food and otherwise let the staff know how much we appreciate them opening their doors to us. We want this weekend to be a success for them too in hopes that they will allow us to continue to use this awesome location for our event in the years to come!

Cost of Entry and Prizes

  • $5 per person per day is the Player1 Video Game Bar cover charge. There are lots of classic arcade and console games to play at this great location and they are set to freeplay. So this cover charge goes to the care and maintenance of these games. You are welcome and encouraged to play some of these other games while awaiting your matches. See above paragraph for more details.

  • $15 per person per day is the overhead fee and goes to the Flipperspiel Underground Arcade Club to house and maintain the Arcade games. This is the only money that goes to the club for organizing this tournament and is separate from the tournament entry fee.

  • $30 per person for the Singles Championship Event

    • 100% of this fee goes towards the prize pool!

    • Double elimination bracket.

    • Consolation bracket for first half of eliminated players.

    • Consolation bracket for first half of eliminated teams.

  • $20 per person for the Sunday Bonus Event (that's $30 per team)
